Wintree descriptions Wintree v4. 21 - A Win95/98/ME/XP genealogy program Wintree produces 2 styles of compact full charts showing all blood relatives from GEDCOM data with options to show ancestors only or descendants only. Print across multiple pages or save as pdf files or as image files which can be viewed by web browsers. Allows charts to be produced displaying over 1000 families showing all links - which may be colour-coded for clarity - & formatted to avoid families being split by page breaks. Commonly 1000 people can be shown on 20 pages or less. Multiple & cousin marriages are shown including cousin marriages across generations. Also produces 7 or 8 generation birth brief charts & selective ancestor chart displaying descent in dropline format from specified ancestors including all siblings. Supports all media sizes including long-axis plots up to 3x9 feet or more. Simple data entry interface to create/edit/view GEDCOM files supports most gedcom data including sources repositories & associates. Shareware.
